Albert Chin Kuen Wu

Albert, born and raised in Indonesia by Malaysian parents, worked in palm oil industries for over 20 years. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the United States of America in 2000, being on the Dean’s List, and a Master’s Degree with Honours from Australia in 2003. He currently calls Kuala Lumpur his home. Having lived and having experienced different cultures in many countries and adapting to it, he has always been keen to learn and acquire new skills. Having an entrepreneurial spirit, he has always looked out for and researched new technologies in various industries.

Upon graduation, he started his working life doing sales in the Machine Tools Industry before joining a manufacturing and fabrication company focusing in construction machineries, as a Business Development Manager responsible for the sales and marketing in the Asia Pacific region. Seven years later, Albert started One Steel Industry (M) Sdn. Bhd. providing services for the construction industry such as fabrication, manufacturing and supply of various steel building products. At the same time, he started to do consultation work and project management for the erection of industrial buildings and housing projects.

Currently, he is very much focused in Green Technology and Energy Recoveries, and has ventured into Green Projects for a Sustainable Future. A practical person with a hands-on-approach, he has learnt that the most important asset a company has is its people, and, together with a continuous acquisition of new skills, is the only way forward.
